27 February 2025: Carbery Group has announced the appointment of John Rea as CEO – Dairy & Nutrition Division.  Reporting directly to Group CEO, Jason Hawkins, John will be focused on driving our dairy and nutritional business strategy as well as sitting on our Global Executive Leadership team.  He will take up this role in the coming months. 

Originally from Cork City, Ireland, John has worked globally throughout his career in senior business leadership positions. Most recently, John held the position of President of ADM’s Health & Wellness Platform, based in Switzerland.

Prior to ADM, John had a long and distinguished career with DuPont Nutrition & Health and Danisco, where he held several senior leadership roles in UK, Germany and France. Throughout his career, he has overseen strategic growth, market expansion, and innovation across the food, nutrition, and health industries. His leadership has been instrumental in driving product innovation, operational efficiency, and financial growth in global markets.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in Food Science from University College Cork and an Executive MBA from Hult International Business School. He is passionate about fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and delivering long-term value.
